Here, the emphasis is on community and connection with the land, where dishes are crafted with care and each meal feels like a celebration. We saw that reflected in the delightful summaries from visitors such as Jenny Chumakov, who praised the filling local soups made with white beans, mushrooms, and potatoes, paired with superb red wine. At 8 EUR for soups and 4 EUR for wine, it is clear that elegance can come at an approachable price.

Each bite is a reflection of the region's traditions, expertly spotlighting local ingredients.
The vibe is undeniably warm and inviting, with Astrid vS emphasizing the joy of indulging in mixed platters accompanied by truffle-infused cheese fondue, all delivered with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. It's no wonder that Edoardo Maria Valente described Riccardo, the owner, as a "perfect guest" ensuring every dining experience is exceptional, complete with delicious desserts and an extensive wine selection from the cantina.

We ate two soups. One local with white beans and one with mushrooms and potatoes. Both were very good and filling. The basic red wine was superb. SERVICE was very very good and professional. Each soup 8 EUR ( enoth for lunch) and the 4 EUR a glass. Highly recommend.

Great food! It isn't your typical pasta pizza kind of restaurant but instead they serve small dishes which can be shared as to be seen on the pictures. We had a truffle fondue, a local speciality and the plate full with local hams and cheese. It was more than enough for 2 people. The staff speaks English and the owner will ensure that everything meets the highest standard. We ate there twice and would, without a doubt, come back if we ever drive by in the area.

Great place for lunch if you like the mixed platters with salumi and different kinds of local cheese. We combined it with a cheese fondue with truffel. Really good. Friendly waiter.

In the heart of Castiglione del lago you'll find this cozy "Enoteca". Try an exquisite soup or a great selection of cold cuts and cheese. Do not miss the Fonduta, "melted cheese" a typical winter-selection. Delicious desserts and amazing Wine Selection from the Cantina. Riccardo, the owner is a perfect guest, you'll feel like home. If you are in the proximity, you have to stop in this place. Top quality. Highly recommended.

Great food. Some vegetarian options, though not clearly marked. I was not so convinced about their desserts. They serve no coffee.

This is a special restaurant offering unique dishes. We had a beef tartare trio; three different styles, including one with truffle. It was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Even for someone like me who isn't usually into beef tartare, it was absolutely delicious. The pork tenderloin, cooked at a low temperature with white wine and porcini mushrooms, was outstanding. It was super tender and full of flavor, especially with the delicious sauce on top. It paired perfectly with their red wine. They also specialize in various soups. We tried one made with green peas, extra virgin olive oil, tomato pulp, carrot, onion, celery, salt, garlic, rosemary, vegetable stock, ground pepper, marjoram, minced pepper, and thyme. It was soothing with lots of vegetarian protein. The green salad with tomatoes was also excellen. It was simple but elevated with their high-quality olive oil and a touch of salt. And their Campari Spritz was spot-on. The owner gave me a tour of their newer restaurant, which had just opened about a month ago, acorss from this restaurant. From the front, it had a chic, trendy vibe, but when he led me to the back, it revealed a whole new world with a stunning view of the lake. Wow. Just breathtaking. This new location specializes in seafood, and I can’t wait to come back and try it. This was truly one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Italy. If you're in town, don’t miss it—you won’t regret it.

A lovely restaurant in Castiglione del Lago that we really enjoyed. The interior is beautifully designed, and there’s also a charming outdoor terrace for dining. We stopped in for lunch and were impressed by the service. The staff and the owner were fantastic—everyone was so friendly and accommodating, making us feel completely pampered, like royalty. Even our dog was warmly welcomed, which added to the overall great experience. The service and ambiance were truly top-notch. The drinks were also excellent, with a perfect Aperol Spritz and a local house wine that was recommended to us, which paired wonderfully with our meal choices. However, when it comes to the food itself, the quality felt a bit uneven. The starters were absolutely delicious. My wife chose the Crostino Tradizionale, a traditional warm chicken liver pâté served on grilled bread. It was perfectly seasoned and tasted incredible, especially when paired with the warm, toasted bread. I opted for the traditional Umbrian lentil soup, Lenticchie Tradizionali, which features lentils and pork. I was thrilled with my choice—the soup was rich, hearty, and exactly what I was craving. Unfortunately, we were less impressed with the main courses. My wife had the Guancia di Maiale a Spezzatino—braised pork cheeks with root vegetables and herbs. The meat, however, was quite tough and chewy, and the sauce was thin, lacking the deep wine flavor we’re used to, with the fat separating from the sauce. I had the Filetto al Vino Bianco, a slow-cooked pork tenderloin with white wine, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt, and cornstarch. While the meat was tender and well-cooked, the sauce was overwhelmingly acidic, which overpowered the flavor of the meat and ruined the dish for me. Despite the disappointing main courses, our visit to this restaurant was still a pleasant experience, and we can recommend it for its great atmosphere, excellent starters, and warm hospitality.
